Inner Peace Retreat

Three days, two nights, unhurried retreat, to cultivate your Inner Peace. Dedicating spaces and time with certain frequency to review and organize our thoughts and feelings is an ancestral recommendation from thinkers and sages of many traditions.

A weekend of tranquility and reflection

Engaging in a retreat allows us to access knowledge and tools that help us resolve our uncertainty, doubts, and fears. It allows us to connect with our mind and begin to train it to develop our inner peace.

We offer you the opportunity to dedicate three days and two nights, in a privileged place such as the Monastery of Garraf, to live a learning and reflection experience inspired by a life philosophy with 2600 years of history.

Focus and Methodology

OBJECTIVES

  1. Know the range and scope of different contemplative traditions
  2. Introduce the habit of meditation in daily life, to develop a healthy and meaningful life
  3. Develop a new perspective from the distance of a privileged space within a community

STAGES

The retreat is structured in three sequential steps that follow this order:

  1. Discover and understand the content and the container
  2. Scope and practice of meditation and Buddhist philosophy
  3. Develop the meaning of our life and health

CONTENTS AND TEACHING TEAM

The content of the retreat is based on Buddhist and Western philosophy integrating social and contemplative sciences, resulting from the vision of masters Jamyang Dorje and Kutsab Dorje.

The retreat is conducted by teachers and professors who have been continuously studying and practicing meditation for more than forty years.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM

Once the retreat is over, we will return to everyday life where we will again be exposed to adverse environments and circumstances that test us on the path to our inner peace. 

Knowing this reality, the contents and practices of the retreat will be available through the virtual classroom of the Institute of Consciousness.

The monastery offers you single or double rooms equipped with private bathrooms to rest and experience the stillness and silence of this place.

Staying at the monastery allows you to enjoy the various meals offered by the community.

During the retreat days, you can attend the prayers that are held daily at the monastery.
