Jamyang Dorje Rinpoche is the founder and vajra master of the Sakya Tashi Ling Buddhist community (1984) and its three monasteries (1996, 2002, 2007), and honorary president of the Sakya Tashi Ling Buddhist Monks Foundation.
Currently, his main functions include: teaching according to the study plans at the Institute of Consciousness and the Dharma School of the community, regular teachings as a guest teacher at Nalanda Mahavihara University (Kobe, Japan), officiating rituals and worship ceremonies, promoting the development and fulfillment of community values, guiding the development of the community’s mission, and since 2008, officially representing Spain at the World Buddhist Summit.
He was born in the city of Barcelona in 1951. Following the guidance of his teachers, he has dedicated most of his life to the study and transmission of Buddhism in the Spanish language, establishing various Dharma centers and groups in several countries in Europe, South America, North America, and Asia.
