In 1996, the community established its first monastery in a completely abandoned natural and cultural heritage site affected by phylloxera, fires, and a long history of speculation and plunder of what was in 1890 the old Colònia Agrícola Plana Novella.
In addition to the 384 hectares dedicated to vineyards and cultivation, the region experienced a period of great splendor with visits from important personalities who promoted significant cultural and social activities.
In 2021, the community began the process of reinterpreting and recovering the old Colònia Agrícola Plana Novella with the aim of protecting the natural environment and preserving the traditions and customs of a unique Mediterranean village.
Protecting nature and promoting the cultural richness of the Massís del Garraf is also our desire and commitment.
The gastronomic culture of a country develops according to the cultivation, customs, and habits of the place.
The first step of this social initiative is to research and devise the culinary proposal of the Colònia Agrícola Plana Novella, choosing between two gastronomic experiences: the Restaurant and the Queviures.
